A few years ago, my friend and sometimes collaborator, the author John Higgs was kicking around the idea that a future super-intelligent AI may not inevitably take over the world and destroy us (as suggested in The Terminator and many, many other dystopias). Instead, the AI would realise that its talents were way more useful when applied to the problem of creating gay disco records.
This idea has been niggling me for years, and now it finally comes to fruition in the release of the first Shardonnay record – Gay Skynet (is gonna funk you up).
I asked amoeba to make me a video, and the piss-taking bastard responded with this delight. Enjoy.
